This final phase of FieldOS development focuses on building that essential user-facing application. It consolidates all previous functionalities into a single, cohesive platform accessible via one login. The design principle emphasizes role-based views, ensuring each user sees only the information and tools relevant to their specific job function. This approach minimizes complexity, reduces errors, and enhances efficiency across the entire organization, from the front lines to the back office.
One App, Every Role
The core innovation of the FieldOS application lies in its ability to serve thirteen distinct user roles through a single login. This includes a customer portal and twelve internal staff roles. Each role is presented with a tailored interface designed for maximum usability within its operational context. For instance, field technicians access a simplified view focused on job details, navigation, and status updates, optimized for mobile use. Dispatchers are presented with a dynamic board that visualizes truck locations, job statuses, and technician availability in real-time, allowing them to manage a complex schedule efficiently.
