Compensation: The salary range for this position is USD $60,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, successful candidates will receive equity in the company, aligning your success with the growth of 10xHire.

What You'll Work On

As a Software Engineer at 10xHire, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our AI-powered technical assessment platform. Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation and deployment. You will tackle challenging problems in areas such as:

  • Backend Development: Building scalable, reliable, and efficient backend services that power our assessment engine and user management systems. This includes designing APIs, managing databases, and ensuring high availability.
  • Distributed Systems: Architecting and implementing distributed systems capable of handling complex assessment workloads, managing concurrency, and ensuring fault tolerance.
  • AI Integration: Working with AI models and machine learning pipelines to create and evaluate technical assessments. This may involve integrating with third-party AI services or developing custom AI solutions for code analysis and grading.
  • System Design: Contributing to the overall architecture of the platform, making critical decisions about technology choices, data models, and system scalability.
  • Debugging and Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving complex bugs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the platform runs smoothly under load.
  • Production Systems: Ensuring the reliability and stability of our production environment, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

Who We're Looking For
